From Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra (IDSO) and Izmir State Symphony Orchestra (İzDSO)

It is the fourth symphony orchestra established after Our orchestra, which was officially established in 1988, started its first studies.

It started in the last months of 1991 with a very small staff of 17 people. He performed his first concert in 1992, on January 5, the day of the liberation of Adana from enemy occupation.

The orchestra expanded its musician staff with the examinations held in the following years. At the same time, with the contributions of Çukurova Philharmonic Association, other Symphony Orchestras, Opera and Ballet Orchestras and State Conservatories

He continues his regular concerts successfully with the support of guest artists.

In addition to such works, NATO Secretary General and former Belgian Foreign Minister Willy Claes conducted the orchestra in the first part of a special concert.

With the support of Adana 6th Corps Command, he performed Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture at Çukurova University Open Air Theater accompanied by real cannon shots. Ç.DSO has performed many domestic and international tours since its establishment.

During the Japan tour, CD recording of Tchaikovsky's 1st Piano Concerto and 5th Symphony was made.

Successful concerts in many festivals such as Side International Music Festival, Mersin International Music Festival, Xheki International Music Festival (Azerbaijan), Bellapais International Music Festival (Cyprus), Bodrum D-marin International Music Festival, Adana Golden Boll Film Festival and Adana International Orange Blossom Carnival has done.

 

Ç.DSO gives place to concerts that include pop music, classical Turkish music and film music repertoires as well as rich classical western music repertoire in various special weeks every season.Every season, he carefully prepares his program and works with great care in order to introduce and endear polyphonic universal music to the Adana audience.

Ç.DSO also performed the first vocalizations of many works in the world and in Turkey.

Between 2000 and 2006, he gave regular concerts to local and foreign tourists at the Antalya Aspendos open-air theater in May and September.

It also presents special concerts that are held regularly every season, such as the “Commemoration of Hacı Sabancı” concert, to the Adana audience. Many schools are invited by the Provincial Directorate of National Education to the educational concerts organized by Ç.DSO with the aim of popularizing classical music and introducing it to the public, and students are introduced to instruments and polyphonic music is taught.

In order to reach art lovers who cannot watch the concerts and to introduce polyphonic music,

Ç.DSO carries polyphonic music out of the concert halls by organizing training concerts for various village and district schools, prison staff and convicts, and workers working in cotton fields during the season.

Having performed its tour concert in Elazig for the first time under the name of “Harput Symphony” with the symphonic arrangement of Elazig folk songs, Ç.DSO continued the repetition of this concert with its Ankara and Istanbul tours.The “Divine Symphony”, another major project of Ç.DSO, was introduced to the public in many cities and gained great acclaim. Despite the unfavorable weather conditions, Ç.DSO broke new ground by giving a concert on Mount Nemrut for the first time in Turkey.Approximately 100,000 people watched the closing concert, held as part of the Orange Blossom Carnival in 2015, and a record was set by receiving great praise.Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra continues its concerts in the light of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's idea that “CULTURE IS THE BASIS OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY”, on the way to be worthy of him.
